Synopsis:
Cumbia around the world and for the world.
The documentary takes us on a tour through Latin America, Europe and Asia to discover the origins, the present and the future of a rhythm that captivates all generations and social classes.
Biophilmography:
He has been a musician since he was a child. Passionate about photography and moving pictures, he studied and graduated at ISER. In 2015 Pablo Coronel directed Cumbia la reina, a documentary film about the tropical music genre in Argentina. In 2018, he travelled around Latin America, Europe and Asia to make his second feature film Cumbia que te vas de Ronda. He currently lives in Portugal and keeps working on his music, exploring new compositions with his cumbia band.
