Synopsis:
When Chelo meets Virginia Isaías, a Mexican woman kidnapped and forced into prostitution for a sex-trafficking network in Chiapas, she undertakes a journey of introspection that shatters the silence about sexual abuse in her own life.

Biophilmography:
Journalist and filmmaker Alvarez-Stehle started her artistic career in Tokyo in the 90s, developing documentary films for NHK and as resporet for Spain's El Mundo. In 1995, she moved to Los Angeles and kept writing on social issues for El Mundo and other magazines. In 2002, she transitioned to documentary filmmaking and social impact video games. She currently produces/directs documentaries and provides advice for campaigns on the impact of documentaries.
