Synopsis:
Ignacio travelled his whole life through the country, playing traditional songs on his accordion. One day he decides to make one last journey. On the way, he is joined by Fermín, a kid who dreams of becoming like him. Ignacio accepts to be accompanied, and together they will discover the enormous diversity of the Caribbean, surviving all kinds of adventures. Ignacio will try to convince Fermín to take a different path in life, but he will have to face the fact that destiny has different plans.

Born in Río de Oro (Cesar, Colombia) in 1981. The wandering shadows (2004) and The wind journeys (2009), received more than 40 international awards. The embrace of the serpent (2015), won the top prize at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight and was nominated for the Academy Awards. Birds of passage (2018), had a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2018 he directed the series for Netflix, Green frontier and in 2019 the film Waiting for the barbarians.Screenplay:
