Synopsis:

Mañe is going through a difficult economic situation. As he wanders the streets looking for a way to survive, he meets an unusual character: a man who carries people in a chair on his back through the centre of Bogotá, charging 500 pesos. A “silletero”. Given the way they can help each other, a strange friendship will arise between them that will make their lives more bearable and give them a chance for redemption.

Biophilmography:

Born in Río de Oro (Cesar, Colombia) in 1981. The wandering shadows (2004) and The wind journeys (2009), received more than 40 international awards. The embrace of the serpent (2015), won the top prize at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight and was nominated for the Academy Awards. Birds of passage (2018), had a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2018 he directed the series for Netflix, Green frontier and in 2019 the film Waiting for the barbarians.
