Synopsis:
Luis discovers the world at age seven. Violence touches his surroundings and triggers the first encounter with death, the discovery of the fragility of his father and the learning of masculinity in his vulnerable world. Everything happens between games and perplexities. It is life in a violent Mexico, where only growing implies danger.
Biophilmography:
Born in Montevideo in 1962, Diana spent half her life in Mexico, where she started her film career. She studied cinematography in Mexico, at the Film Training Center, and communication sciences in Uruguay. She received a scholarship to the Tribeca Film Institute in New York (2005). Before devoting herself to filmmaking, she worked as a journalist. Her first feature film was War and Neighbors by Manuela Jankovic (in post-production).
