Synopsis:
An emotional journey through the aesthetic, ethical and epic content of the live images that were captured in the original film archives of the Mexican Revolution.

Biophilmography:
As a director he has won several awards. Some of the most significant ones include The Crocodile in 1986 for Climbing to Heaven, The Pitirre and the Ariel in 1988 for No Apparent Motive. In 1994, his film Just Taste was selected at the IDFA and won in Gran Canarias Award. In 1996 he won the Coral Award for Siqueiros Planet, which was nominated for the Ariel Award the same year. He won the Ariel Award with The history in the sight in 2011. He is currently head of the DIS, the prestigious School of Cinema of the University of Guadalajara.
