Synopsis:
Restless Soul is a documentary feature film on the life of Uruguayan musician Gustavo “Príncipe” Pena. A look back at his remarkable private universe through his art and different moments that fellow musicians, relatives and close friends shared with him over the years. Featuring never-before-seen footage, radio interviews, music and videos, the film offers a deeper insight into the musician and poet, as well as the person, behind those beautiful songs.

Restless Soul is the debut feature film of the directors. Matías Guerreros studied Communication Sciences and in 2009 he started researching and digging deeper into the work of Uruguayan musician Gustavo Príncipe Pena. From 2005 to this day, Eli-u Pena has worked on the compilation of his father’s vast body of work. She is a singer, songwriter and has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has released two records: Creo en los elefantes and Trovalina.
