Synopsis:
The myths of origin are universal. This documentary deals with the search for the origins of two women from two very different cultures. One in the world of the Maya in Mexico; the other in the world of Central European Jews. The search for their own identity goes beyond ethnic and geographical borders: it is a way of explaining, of understanding, of giving meaning, of finding a place.

Biophilmography:
Widely known as a documentary director, she has directed Los Nuestros, a television documentary series focused on presenting the testimonies of key figures in science, art, and research in Mexico. In 1991 she was awarded the Ariel Award for Best medium-length documentary.
