Synopsis:
It narrates the rebellion of the chicheras of Guateque, in Boyacá, against the arrival of a new company which legally produces aguardiente. Faced with these new circumstances, the production of chicha tries to survive among the indigenous and mestizo majority, in a time when its preparation was already causing controversy. The chicheras of Guateque have fought the first war of the drinks. This production is part of a trilogy entitled De amores y delitos.

Biophilmography:
Film director. Her first short film, Por la mañana, was recently chosen for the exhibition "Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960-1985" for the Hammer Museum and Brooklyn Museum. She was a member of the Cine-Mujer collective and of the National Council for the Arts and Cinematographic Culture.
