Synopsis:

The filmmaker Santiago Alvarez, who called himself a traveler through history, filmed the most remarkable events of his time, from the Cuban Revolution to the collapse of the Soviet bloc. Through his works, we immerse ourselves in the political scene and culture of Cuba, in the tensions of Latin America, in the Vietnam War.

Sílvio Tendler, also known as "the filmmaker of losers" or "the filmmaker of broken dreams", because of his approach in his films to personalities such as Jango, JK, Carlos Marighella, among others. Sílvio has produced more than 40 films between short and full-length films. Tendler has directed three of the largest blockbusters in the history of Brazilian cinema: O Mundo Mágico dos Trapalhões, Jango and Anos JK.
