Synopsis:

In the Republic of Miranda, an imaginary country situated in Latin America that lives under a dictatorship, Arcibel Alegría, a journalist who writes about chess, is imprisoned as a political prisoner owing to a confusion in the schematization of the newspaper he works for. But time will give him a surprise, Arcibel`s game has stopped being a game and has become a reality.

Biophilmography:

Alberto Lecchi directed his first film in 1993. He has produced twelve TV series, such as 9 Moons, Women killers and Epitaphs. He has been awarded in Festivals all over the world. Among other prizes, stand out the Premio Gloria award for his career achievements at the Festival Latino de Chicago, and the Martin Fierro award for best Director by Cronistas Argentinos.
