Synopsis:

The author’s journey in search of the last Republican volunteers who fought in the Spanish Civil War. Between 2015 and 2018 the writers of the film have met eight of them and an Italian fascist voluntary who fought at Guadalajara against his cousin, a garibaldian voluntary of the International Brigades.

Pasquale D’Aiello is an author and director for the Italian state television RAI. He works for the channel RAI Storia. He worked as programs director and author also for the channels Rai 3, Rai Film and Rai 4. Furthermore, he wrote and directed some fictional short movies. He published stories for books and for the web. He collaborated as film critic with several Italian magazines (Taxidrivers.it, Filmaker’s Magazine, Indipendenti dal Cinema, Storia dei Film).
