Synopsis:
Rafaela is a young girl from a dangerous neighbourhood of Santo Domingo, who dreams about moving to a better place with her mother. When she grows up, she becomes the leader of a criminal gang that “Mario el Mago”, a known drug dealer of the neighbourhood, wants to force to work for him. Rafaela is constantly intimidated for being a woman they consider transgender, and they can’t understand her. And while the world around her gets more violent, she fights to find her identity.

In 2021 directed Rafaela, winner of Primera Mirada in IFF Panamá, Oficial selection of 52nd IFFI, GOA, winner for Best Picture at Puerto Rico Film Festival. His first film, La Familia Reyna (2015), winner of many awards at La Silla and IRIS movie awards of Santo Domingo, included best director. Also, winner of public's award at festival Cine Del Mar de Uruguay. In 2016 was the director of photography of the short film Caribbean Fantasy, winner at the MiradasDoc film festival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España.Screenplay:
