Synopsis:
The history of the Jews in Argentina is the history of those who built their identity with the latent hope of thinking about a better future, with a different language, in a different territory.
The three brothers, reproducing their family's log stories, then navigate between desire and intuition. Closer to a personal feeling than to a certainty. Knowing that a documentary can be a particular way of inquiring about the different ways of “forging a nation”.
Biophilmography:
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1953. Between 1978 and 1983 he studied in Mexico at the University Centre for Cinematographic Studies, and in Spain, at the Official Institute of Spanish Radio Television graduating in 1993. In 1996 he premiered the first of his 7 documentaries, "Hunters of utopias", receiving many awards, among which the Award in the Section "Argentina, difficult memory" of the XI Latin American Film Festival of Trieste.
