Synopsis:
Tony Martínez is released from a reformatory and returns to his community to confront the irremediable dilemma of whether to follow a positive path or seek revenge while attempting to rid his community of the misery caused by the drug trade.

César Caro Cruz (Chile). His first feature film Tercer Mundo premiered in 2010 and won the best Central American feature film award at the XII Festival de Cine ICARO. In 2017, he premiered Mayordomo filmed in Costa Rica. El Pájaro de Fuego, shot in Costa Rica, is Cesar's third feature-length fiction film. It premiered in January 2021.
