Synopsis:
The Valley of the Fallen was a work of Franco, a particular obsession of his. He found the place, expropriated the land, ordered it to be built at all costs, decided who its builders were to be, and its aesthetics too. Ethics was not part of the script. A journey through a history of slaves, of megalomaniacal dreams of the one who believed he was the savior of faith and a country, the aid he received, the business that led to the waste of a multi-million dollar construction in a devastated country.
